NaturCroq Mini Puppy

For ideal puppy growth from 1 month onwards – especially for small dogs.

The perfect fat and protein content in Happy Dog NaturCroq Mini Puppy provides all-round support for puppies and young dogs of small breeds from 1 to 12 months, ensuring steady and healthy growth. Small dogs grow up at a more even rate than dogs of medium-sized or large breeds. However it is in the first twelve months of life when the foundation for healthy development of small breed puppies and young dogs is established. So an optimum supply of proteins and nutrients is absolutely fundamental.

Small puppies with high energy requirements

Puppies who are exploring the world full of curiosity and young dogs with their insatiable desire to play and run around need more energy than adult dogs. This means that they need more proteins and minerals. To meet these needs, we recommend a good puppy food for your little treasure, such as our NaturCroq Mini Puppy. Your puppy will then receive everything he needs for optimum development.

Do you want to avoid mistakes when feeding your puppy?

Our feeding tips for puppies will help you: up to 4 months old, you can give your little puppy 4 meals a day. Up to 6 months old, reduce this to 3 meals and after 6 months you can feed your four-legged friend just twice a day. For small breeds up to 10 kg (weight of the adult dog) you should change over to a suitable Adult food no earlier than nine months and no later than 12 months old. To follow on from Natur Croq Mini Puppy we recommend that you give NaturCroq Mini Lachs & Reis or NaturCroq Mini Lamm & Reis

*Final weight reached: slowly change over to a suitable adult food.

Please note

  • The amount of food should be gradually increased every 2-3 days to weekly until the amount recommended for the next age band is reached.
  • As the dog approaches its final weight, the energy requirement drops off and the amount of food should be adjusted in line with the feeding guide.
  • When the final weight is reached, remember to change over to a suitable Adult food.

General feeding notes

  • Weigh puppies regularly and record weight changes.
  • The amounts shown are simply for guidance. The amount required will vary according to age, breed, level of activity and whether yours is an indoor or outdoor dog. It may therefore be necessary to adjust the amount of food given to individual pets.
  • Do not give too much to eat – make sure growth is not above average.
  • If you give snacks, reduce the amount of food accordingly. Hint: use part of the daily food ration as a snack substitute.
  • Give the food dry or add warm water (roughly 60° C) and leave to soak a few minutes.
  • Split the daily food ration between several meals (3 - 4).
  • Make sure that fresh drinking water is available at all times.
